NEW YORK CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT FAMILY DAY

The New York City Police Department Academy is hosting a family Day event for the current class of recruits on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Police Academy, located in College Point, 130-30 28th Avenue College Point, NY 11354.

The Asian Jade Society continue to participate at this event to support the incoming class of recruits and their families as well as providing outreach to all the other Asian Officers who may require an opportunity to reconnect with the Society.

Please join the Society at the Police Academy to enjoy and participate in the various activities designed to showcase the various specialized units.

 The event starts at 10AM and Ends approximately 3PM.

PHILIPPINE INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE

Members of the Asian Jade Society are authorized by the Department to participate in the 29th annual Philippine Independence Day Parade.  The Philippine Independence Day Parade is an annual event that recognizes and honors those of Filipino descent.

The parade will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019.
MUSTER TIME WILL BE AT 1100 HOURS AT 38TH STREET AND MADISON AVENUE, MANHATTAN THE PARADE WILL COMMENCE AT 1200 HOURS.

All members of the service, and their families, are cordially invited to participate in this event. Uniform members attending should be in full dress uniform, while civilian members should be in business attire. Permission to attend this event for an on-duty member will be at the discretion of the member’s Commanding Officer. Off-duty members are encouraged to attend. No member is to incur overtime related to this event.     

Administrative Guide Procedure 304-07, “Function/Event Sponsored by a Department Religious, Line of Fraternal Organization,” Provides Guidelines for the excusal of members to attend this event.

2019 Asian Jade Society General Membership renewal dues are now being collected.

Members who do not pay their dues by June will be assessed a $10.00 late fee to $45.00.
If you sign through through Employee Self Service, ESS Direct Deduction Dues will $35.00 year round.
Will be automatically be payroll deducted every year.

New York based Investigations & Security Company is seeking qualified individuals to investigate Medicaid Fraud in New York City and the Downstate New York Counties. Individuals MUST meet the following criteria for consideration:

• Minimum of six (6) years experience investigating criminal, civil, medical, welfare and/or white collar fraud (higher education credit may be substituted, if in a related field)
• Five (5) years experience conducting face-to-face interviews
• Five years (5) experience conducting: o Undercover investigations o Surveillance o Running multiple investigations simultaneously Individuals must present SPECIFIC evidence demonstrating they meet the above qualifications.
